History

The R11 RSASS was originally developed under the name RSASS. After Remington Defense (former Remington Arms ), which were taken Advanced Armament Corporation and other manufacturers of the Freedom Group holding company developed, Remington and AAC in collaboration with JP Enterprises rifle based on the JP LRP - 07 release. The additional designation R11 received the weapon in early 2012, to assign it to Remington R- series.
