Remote Center Compliance

A Remote Center of Compliance ( RCC also, English, freely translated. " Remote center of compliance ") is a joining aid in the robot industry. A RCC module is a unit which ( an industrial robot ) allows you to compensate for small positional and angular inaccuracies. This capability of giving it receives by the use of elastomers.

With such joining aids positioning inaccuracies can of about -1 mm and angle inaccuracies of about - 1 ° are compensated. Depending on the model, this allows a balance in all three translational and rotational axes.

Application

A typical application is an insert bolts into holes.
