Ren Zhengfei

Ren Zhengfei (* 1944) is the president of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.. According to Forbes, Ren is with $ 120 million of the 190 richest man in China.

Biography

Ren was born the eldest of seven children. His parents were both teachers. He graduated from the Chongqing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and began to work after graduation in the defense industry. In 1978 he joined the Communist Party. In 1982 he was a member of the twelfth Party Congress of the Communist Party of China. In 1988 he founded Huawei.
