The Renaelva (also Rena ) is a 165 km long left tributary of the Glomma in the county of Hedmark in Norway. The Renaelva has its origins east of Tronfjell and flows through the municipalities Rendalen and Åmot parallel to Glomma south, flows through the lakes and Lomnessjøen Storsjøen and the reservoir Løpsjøen and flows coming near the village of Rena from the east in the Glomma.

Coming Below the Løpsjøen opens the 32 km long Julussa from the south in the Renaelva.

The catchment area of ​​3967 km ² is Renaelva.

A tunnel diverts some of the water of the upper Glomma to Renaelva to optimize the energy production of hydropower plants.
