Renal artery

The renal artery (Latin for renal artery ) is in the range of the 1st and 2nd lumbar vertebra on both sides off from the aorta, so can we distinguish a renal artery sinistra (left) and a renal artery artery (right). The left renal artery passes behind the pancreas to the left kidney, the right renal artery passes behind the inferior vena cava to the hilum of the right kidney.

The renal artery is on both sides of the artery from the inferior suprarenal, which is involved in the arterial supply of the adrenal gland.

The corresponding renal vein Vein accompanying means ( renal ) and opens into the inferior vena cava.
