Renate Bertlmann
Renate Bertlmann ( born February 28, 1943 in Vienna) is an Austrian visual artist. She received the 2007 Award of the City of Vienna for the visual arts and is represented in the Vienna collection.
Life
Renate Bertlmann studied from 1964 to 1970 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, was there from 1970 to 1982 lecturer and has worked freelance since 1970. She works with various media, such as drawings, paintings, objects, installations, photography, photo films, videos, performances, texts, lectures. She is a member of the Vienna Secession and the Lower Austrian Photo Initiative river.
