Renate Urne

Renate urn (born 11 June 1982) is a former Norwegian handball player.

Urn started playing handball at Erdal IL and moved it to Tertnes IL, where she remained faithful until her 18th birthday. Then she joined IL Bjørnar, who played in the 1st Division, the second highest Norwegian league. With the right-handed Bjørnar of 2002 was in the Elite series. In summer 2005, she returned to Tertnes IL. After urn with Tertnes in 2006 and 2007 took the third place in the Norwegian Championship, she moved to German Bundesliga club HC Leipzig. With the HCL won urn 2009 and 2010 the German Championship, won in 2008 the DHB Cup and won the 2008 DHB Supercup. After the 2010/11 season ended urn her career.

Renate urn completed 20 games for the Norwegian national handball team, where she scored 15 goals. With the Norwegian selection urn won the 3rd place at the 2009 World Championships.
