Renato Dionisi

Renato Dionisi ( born November 21, 1947 in Riva del Garda) is a former Italian pole vaulter.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he left in qualifying.

In 1966, he finished fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Budapest, and in 1967 he won the silver medal at the Mediterranean Games. At the European Indoor Games he was in 1968 in Madrid, fourth and fifth in 1969 in Belgrade.

In the EM 1971 in Helsinki, he won bronze in the following year, however, he retired at the Olympic Games in Munich in the group stage without a valid experiment from.

A victory at the Indoor Athletics Championships 1973 in Rotterdam followed by an eighth place finish at the 1974 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg.

In 1975, he took each bronze at the Mediterranean Games and the Universiade. Also he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Munich in 1976.

Ten times he was Italian champion outdoors (1964-1971, 1977, 1978 ) and twice in the Hall (1971, 1973).
