Renato Olmi

Renato Olmi ( born July 12, 1914 in Trezzo sull'Adda (MI ), † 15 May 1985 in Crema ) was an Italian football player.

Career

In the club

The midfielder Renato Olmi began his career in his home region of Lombardy, in the U.S. Cremonese in Serie B. After a stopover at Brescia Calcio 1937, he moved to Inter Milan in the Serie A, which were called at that time Ambrosiana - Inter. There he played with the exception of 1941/42, when he ran aground for Juventus until 1943. According to the setting of the Serie A match operation because of the Second World War Olmi went back to Cremonese, where he played until 1946. His career ended in 1947 then at a small club in Cremona.

In the National Team

Although he had not been previously nominated a single time for the national team, was appointed to the Italian squad for the World Cup in France in 1938 Renato Olmi of coach Vittorio Pozzo. Also at the World Cup, he got no use, was with Italy but still world champion. The three single matches of his career graduated Olmi 1940.
