Renault Nervastella 1936

The Nervastella was a luxury car, which was built in the period from 1930 to 1938 by the manufacturing company Renault. This car was considered a little brother to Reinastella, smaller but with more modern technology. The name can be derived from the Latin " stella", which means star in German language.

Motors

During the entire duration of an eight-cylinder in-line engine made for the drive. First, the engine produced from 4240 cc 74 kW (100 hp) at 3300 min -1. 1933, the engine capacity was increased to 4825 cc and 1935 to 5448 cc. Output has increased only moderately to 81 kW (110 hp).

Special

The Nervastella appeared as a four-door sedan, a coupe for the town and 1931 as an extended version with five or seven seats. Unusual was the color palette in the Renault offering this car. A minor version of Nervastella was the Renault Nervahuit, which was also built in 1931. In 1932 the Nervastella a complete facelift, in the smoothed some forms and the appearance was adapted to American cars. In 1938 the production was stopped.
