Renault Talisman

The Renault Talisman was a concept car, the Renault company and was presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2001. It was designed by Patrick le Quément.

Motor

Talisman is powered ( electronically limited ) by a V8 engine with a displacement of 4494 cc and the car up to 250 km / h speeds. The circuit is performed by a six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and pulse circuit that distributes the power to the Michelin PAX run-flat tires on the rear wheels. A rear diffuser and wide 380 mm brake discs provide even at higher speeds enough security and delay.

Innovation

The Talisman has been designed in a rounded shape. In the interior you get to both sides by the 2450 mm wide gull-wing doors, swing, only via a button on the smart card, electro-hydraulically upwards. By this wing door concept the talisman is missing the B-pillar, which makes it very easy to get into the back of the car. The interior itself are four seats on carbon fiber, which are covered with red leather. The seat height can decide to have an optimal seating position as required by seat cushions. The driver can bring the fittings and the pedals on a small electric motor itself into the optimal position for its stature. Then he looks at the round instruments that correspond to the touch design of Renault.
