René Deffke

René Deffke ( born November 9, 1966) is a former German football player.

The striker played from 1989 to 1992 in blue and white 90 Berlin and then moved for two years to Fortuna Köln. He then played for Hertha BSC, VfL Wolfsburg, FC Carl Zeiss Jena, LR Ahlen, Eintracht Trier and Eintracht Braunschweig before he ended his active career in 2000.

He completed a total of 191 games in the 2nd Bundesliga, scoring 46 goals.

René Deffke works as player consultant and was next to 2008-2010 coach of the Rhineland-Palatinate district division SG Osburg / Thomm. Since the season 2010/11 he is coach of the A- circle division Suryoye Paderborn, where he managed directly the rise in the district league.
