René Fasel

René Fasel ( born February 6, 1950 in Fribourg, Switzerland ) is a Swiss ice hockey official who since 1994 has been president of the International Ice Hockey Federation ( IIHF ) and held this position since 1995 IOC member.

Life

Fasel studied at the universities of Freiburg and Bern Dentistry and graduated in 1977 with a diploma as a dentist from. Then he practiced in his own practice. In the Swiss army, he reached the rank of captain.

Sports career

As referee
