René Müller (footballer born 1974)

René Müller ( born May 19, 1974 in Minden ) is a former German football player.

Career

In his youth Müller played for FC Bad Oeynhausen and Arminia Bielefeld. Until 1999, he played in Preußen Münster. In the season 1999/2000 Müller came to VfL Bochum, where he played a league game. Only a year later, he moved free transfer to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen. For the season 2002/ 03 he came to FC Augsburg, where he also remained only one year.

The following season he moved to Rot-Weiß Erfurt, where he contributed 17 hits significantly to the rise of the Thuringian to the 2nd Bundesliga at. During the winter break of the season, when it was not foreseeable that the Erfurt ascend, René Müller signed a contract with SC Paderborn 07 Since the Paderborn insisted on the fulfillment of the contract, Müller joined the 2004/05 season in the Regionalliga Nord, instead of Erfurt higher class to play. After the second division - Descent of SCP in May 2008, he moved to Kickers Offenbach in the third league. For the 2012/13 season his old club SC Paderborn 07 committed him as head of the young - power center and coach of the U23 SCP.

On May 5, 2013 Müller took over as interim coach the professional team of SC Paderborn after the dismissal of Stephan Schmidt. For the new season, he was then replaced by André width tab.
