Renier de Huy

Reiner of Huy (* 11th century or 12th century; † around 1150 ) was a goldsmith and bronze casters.

Known as his main work of the baptismal font Reiner of Huy from 1107-1108 located since 1804 in the Collegiate Church of St. Bartholomew in Liege. Reiner of Huy is at the beginning of the Meuse goldsmith's art of the 12th century, which is, inter alia, continued by Godefroy de Huy and Nicholas of Verdun.
