Renitenztheater
The Renitenztheater is a cabaret stage in Stuttgart with 260 seats. Before the move of the theater in October 2010, a year took place about 350 events, which were attended by around 36,000 people. The majority of events consists of guest performances by comedians, comedians and chanson singers. In addition, a satirical play by the Renitenztheater itself is produced annually. History
The Small Renitenz Theatre, as it was in the beginning, was founded in 1961 as a private commercial theater by Gerhard Woyda (* 1925). The game began operation on April 19, 1961 in the King's Road 17 at the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart. Under the direction of Joachim Hackethal, Pit Krüger and Harald Müller, the opening program " Goethe, Girls and garden gnomes " was performed, accompanied her to the Woyda on the piano. In the following years a number of nationally known artists in Renitenztheater occurred, including Hana Hegerová, Georg Kreisler, Gert Frobe, Robert Kreis, Mathias Richling, Helmut Qualtinger and Thomas Friday.
Shortly after the 25 -year anniversary in 1986 was the theater after an audit and the resulting tax payment of 250,000 DM from insolvency. The city of Stuttgart saved the Renitenztheater and transferred it into a non-profit organization. 1990 the Renitenztheater was terminated by the homeowner of the lease on the King's Road, which led to a move to the Eberhardstraße 65 near the daily paper tower. On August 30, 1991, the theater in the new premises was re-opened with 148 seats. In 1993, the Stuttgart Cabaret Festival was held for the first time, at the other locations were recorded.
The Renitenztheater from Eberhardstraße and was adopted September 30, 2010 the day after 26 re-opened in Stuttgart Hospital District at the new location in the bush road. Background were urban planning changes to the current location. The new premises offer artists and audiences considerably more space. The 220 sqm large auditorium seats 260 seats (and thus 100 seats more than the Renitenztheater in Eberhardstraße ), the stage 75 sqm. The foyer of the theater is a multifunctional space between theater and gastronomy dar. Among the best known artists that have occurred in recent years in Renitenztheater belong Ottfried Fischer, Dieter Hildebrandt, Kurt Kroemer, Desirée Nick, Georg Kreisler, Reiner Kröhnert, Sissi Perlinger and Hagen Rether.

Structure

Financing
