Renseneb

Renseneb or Amenemhet Renseneb, also Ranisoneb or Reniseneb, was an ancient Egyptian King (Pharaoh) and 13th ruler of the 13th Dynasty ( Second Intermediate Period ).

This ruler appears in the Turin Royal Canon ( 6.16), where as Rn [s ] nb - can be reconstructed almost certainly the s is not obtained, however. With a reign of four months and he is otherwise known only from a single pearl. In the pearl he wears the double name Amenemhet Renseneb. The name is probably actually be understood as a means Reniseneb and healthy .. My name is Kim Ryholt indicates the double name as a lineage specification ( filiation ) of Amenemhet [ son ] Reniseneb. However, this interpretation is controversial in research.
