Rent-a- Wreck ( in German: Rent-a - car scrap ) was originally created out of the idea, cars for rent, on the one hand cheaper than the established competition and the other, are not obvious at first glance as car hire. So it may be advantageous to identify themselves immediately as a helpless, unarmed tourist. Normal rental cars are easy to spot.
