Renzo Piano

Renzo Piano ( born 14 September 1937 in Genoa ) is an Italian architect and senator for life.

Life

Piano grew up in a family of builders. His passion for architecture, he owes his father.

Renzo Piano studied from 1962 to 1964 at the University of Florence and received his diploma from the Milan Polytechnic in 1964. From 1965 to 1968 he worked there as a lecturer. His father's and brother's support enabled him to begin the study of materials and technologies immediately after graduation. On study trips to the United Kingdom and the United States, he met Louis I. Kahn know. Piano made ​​in the renowned architectural firm of Kahn in Philadelphia an internship.

Magda Arduino was Renzo Piano's first wife and companion of his long development. With it, Renzo Piano has three children: Carlo, Matteo and Lia. Since 1992, with the architect Renzo Piano Emilia Rossato ( Milly ) is married.
