Repco

Repco is a manufacturer and wholesaler mainly for automobile spare parts in Australia and New Zealand now has over 4000 employees in around 450 stores. With a range of over 175,000 spare parts around 900 million dollars in sales are achieved annually. The company was founded in 1922. In the 1960s, Repco was also the import company for the products of General Motors and the producer of an outstandingly successful Formula 1 engine.

The Australian designer Phil Irving knew the alloy V8 the company in 1966 with completely new high-performance heads. With this engine, he equipped the vehicles of the Brabham racing team of his compatriot Jack Brabham, which he so helped to his third World Drivers' Championship.
