Repetition (rhetorical device)
Repetition or repetitio (lat. repeat) called a rhetorical figure of repetition. There are repeated individual parts of a sentence, the statement reinforced and the intensity is increased.
Examples:
- " O mother! What is salvation? O mother! What is hell? " ( Gottfried August Bürger, Lenore )
- "Oh dear! Oh dear! "
