Republican Guard (Lebanon)
The Brigade of the Republican Guard is a military unit of the Lebanese Army is subordinate to the President of the Lebanese Republic.
In 2005, Brigadier General Mustafa Hamdan led the Guard. He is suspected of having taken part in the attack on the convoy of former Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic Rafiq al - Hariri.
