Reshetylivka
Reschetyliwka (Ukrainian Решетилівка; Russian Решетиловка / Reshetilovka ) is an urban-type settlement in the central Ukrainian Poltava Oblast on the river Howtwa. It is Rajonzentrum of the district of the same and is divided into the SST and the 9 villages Bilokoni ( Білоконі ) Hanschi ( Ганжі ) Kolotiji ( Колотії ) Prokopiwka ( Прокопівка ), Seni ( Сені ) Sljusari ( Слюсарі ), choir Uschi ( Хоружі ), Tscherneschtschyna ( Чернещина ) and Schkurupijiwka ( Шкурупіївка ).
History
The town was first mentioned in 1638. Since the 19th century it has developed into a manufacturing center of folk clothing. 1966 lived in the town of 11,000 inhabitants
Economy and Transport
The economic focus is on the textile industry. Reschetyliwka, located on the street 40 on the route between Kiev and Poltava, since 1901 also serves the railway route Kyiv - Poltava the place.
