Restrepo is an American documentary film about the war in Afghanistan from 2010. Therein accompany the American journalist Sebastian Junger and British photographer Tim Hetherington U.S. soldiers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade as embedded journalists when they are used on an outpost in Afghanistan's Korengal valley.

There are neither diplomats nor generals to speak, the audience learns only what the soldiers experience this year and how they cope with their experiences after returning from their use.
