The Resurrection ( Original title: Resurrezione ) is an Italian- French- German film from 2001 The film was based on the novel by Leo Tolstoy Resurrection. .

Action

The pretty Katjuscha earned her living as a prostitute. She is accused of murder, and one of the jurors, the Prince Dmitri Nekhludoff to judge them. Dimitrij recognizes the woman in his high school sweetheart again, in which he had been in love many years ago during a summer that he had then never seen again. Katjuscha expecting a child by him, which, however, lost. Then she began to work as a prostitute.
