Réunion Creole (also called " Réunionnais ") is a Creole language in Réunion. The base is French, but there are also terms of Malagasy, Hindi, Portuguese, Gujarati and Tamil. Try to write a dictionary of grammar, have yet resulted in any official publication. In Réunion, French is usually used as a written language.

The language is divided into three dialects: the Creole of the mountains, the Creole of the plains and the urban Creole, which is the most similar to French.

Louis Héry was a writer who has written for the first time in Réunion Creole in the 19th century.
