Reutlingen (Winterthur)

Reutlingen is a guard outside, while a quarter of the city of Winterthur and belongs to the district 4 (Upper Winterthur).

Geography

Reutlingen is a guard outside of Upper Winterthur and is located north of the urban area. In the south of the district extends to the left at the city limits Zinzikon neighborhood, in a small part in the South East has the district also shares a border with Guggenbühl. In the north of the district borders the district area of the outer guard Stadel, runs their common border along the A1 motorway. In the west the district is bordered to the community Seuzach and to the west by Wiesendangen.

The neighborhood is outside the town itself, apart from small forest areas, from agricultural land.

History

1167 Reutlingen was first mentioned as " Rutelingin " documentary, with the ending- lingin be close to a place Alemannic origin. Until 1264 Reutlingen belonged to the dominion of the Kyburgs, which was followed by the Habsburgs. Along with the pledge of Winterthur to Zurich in 1452 also Reutlingen is pledged by the Habsburgs to the city of Zurich. A so-called feeder letter is documented from 1646, an influx of money is granted the right in the Reutlingen to raise 25 pounds of Zurich, 50 pounds for those from the rest of Switzerland and at its sole discretion with foreigners. 1875 Reutlingen receives a stop along the newly opened railway line Winterthur - Etzwilen and in the same year a mailbox is opened. 1881 a cooperation agreement with the political community Oberwinterthur is closed along with the other civil parishes in the region.

1922 Reutlingen is incorporated together with the upper Winterthur Winterthur, which also has been resolved up to now existing civil parish. In 1980, the northern bypass was opened along the road from Upper Winterthur to Seuzach. Since about 1986 ( connection to the sewer system of the city of Winterthur), the former farming village has developed into a residential village and suburb of Winterthur, the population rose from 179 in 1980 to 433 at. The post Reutlingen was closed after more than 100 years of existence in 1993.

Education

The kindergarten and the lower grades (1st - 3rd grade ) attend the Reutlinger children in Stadel, Intermediate (4th - 6th grade) they can complete themselves in the school of Reutlingen. For the high school they go to secondary school in Upper House Wallrüti Winterthur.

Traffic

Reutlingen is served by the tram stop Reutlingen on the railway line Winterthur - Etzwilen. It hold two lines of the S -Bahn Zurich in Reutlingen, which together form a half-hour:

  • S 12 Brugg - Zurich HB - Winterthur HB - Seuzach / lakes (only every hour, every half hour offset from Winterthur HB to Winterthur -Seen )
  • S 29 Winterthur HB - Stein am Rhein

On weekends from Reutlingen also night bus N60 ( - Upper Winterthur - Seuzach - HB Adlikon ) is approached, however, the holding in Reutlingen, just to get off.
