Reverberatory furnace

The reverberatory furnace is a stove furnace in which a molten metal is brought directly by the flame or jet heat ( radiant ceiling heating) to the desired temperature.

The reverberatory furnace differs from the shaft furnace, which is charged as a classical blast furnace, as well as a cupola with a mixture of ore, pig iron and aggregates.

Widespread find reverberatory furnaces in the non-ferrous metallurgy.
