Revolutionary Guard Corps

The Libyan Revolutionary Guard was a Libyan military unit allegedly from members of the tribe of Guededfa, which also Muammar Gaddafi plays, composed and Gaddafi was subordinated directly.

According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS ) served in the unit approximately 3,000 soldiers and had tanks, armored vehicles and surface to air missiles.

The Revolutionary Guards fought on the side of Gaddafi in the Libyan civil war.
