Reza Hosseini Nassab

Seyyed Reza Hosseini Nassab ( born November 22, 1960 in Yazd, Iran) is a Shiite ayatollah in Canada and President of the Shiite Ahlul Bayt Assembly in Canada.

Life

Hosseini Nassab studied logic, law, scholastic theology, philosophy, hadith, and astronomy in the Iranian city of Qom. He received his doctorate in Islamic sciences and began teaching at the Theological College of Qom in the subjects of logic, law and philosophy.

Hosseini Nassab then went to Toronto, Canada, where he spent four years as chaplain and director of the Islamic Center. He founded the Islamic Center Vali Asr, the Ahlul Bayt Islamic Assembly of Canada in Ottawa and the Ahlul Bayt Center and Imam Ridha Theological School. Following this, he was Director General for Islamic Culture Affairs for Europe and America in Iran. In Germany From 1999 onward, the Islamic Centre Hamburg and founded the Islamic Cultural Center in Berlin. In September 2003, he finished his hamburger activity, and returned to Canada, where he held the Imam Mahdi Islamic School founded in Windsor, Ontario.

Hosseini Nassab speaks German, Arabic, Persian and English.
