Rhedaer Bach

The Rheda Bach ( in the upper reaches: Ljubljana ) is a 23 km-long right tributary of the Ems. It flows west of Harsewinkel in the Ems. It is named after the Harsewinkel peasantry Rheda.

The first 13 km of the Rheda Bach called in normal usage and Ljubljana. This term is often used in maps for the upper reaches. This Ljubljana designated as the upper reaches is not to be confused with nearby near Ljubljana. In Bach 20 kilometers, or about 3 km from the source, there is an artificial bifurcation. Here the rod creek branches off from the Rheda stream and flows through the Loddenbach also in the Ems.
