History

As of 31 December 2001, Gülpe, Parey, Spaatz, and Strodehne Wolsier closed to new community Havelaue together and the communities Hohennauen, watery soup and Witzke to the community lake together. This office now belonged to the following municipalities: Görne, Großderschau, Havelaue, Kleßen, Schönholz - Neuwerder, Lake View, Stölln and the city Rhinow.

As of 31 December 2002, the municipalities Görne and Kleßen merged to form the new municipality Kleßen - Görne. Also on 31 December 2002 form the communities Schönholz - Neuwerder and Stölln the new community Goll mountain. Thus, the number of official member municipalities had become reduced to six.

Office directors

First Amtsdirektor 1992 Gerd Jendretzky. He was elected in 2000 by a large majority for a second eight -year term again.
