Rhinow (Amt)

In office Rhinow [ ʁi ː no ː ] six official belonging to communities are summarized in a management group. Seat is in the city Rhinow. It was formed in 1992 by initially 14 municipalities in the former county Rathenow (now Havelland, Brandenburg ). Through the formation of new communities in the years 2001 and 2002, the number of municipalities was reduced to six.
Geographical location
The Office is in the northwest of present-day county Havel country in Brandenburg ( Germany ), and is bordered to the west by the state of Saxony- Anhalt, on the north by the Ostprignitz -Ruppin, on the east by the Office Friesack and to the city of Rathenow and on the south by the Office Nennhausen.

History
The Office Rhinow was formed in 1992 and came out with the approval of the Minister of the Interior of 4 March 1992, with effect from April 1, 1992 about. For the official residence of the city Rhinow was determined. At the time of formation were among 14 communities to the office:

- Hohennauen
- Witzke
- Spaatz
- Wolsier
- Gülpe
- Water soup
- Strodehne
- Großderschau
- Stölln
- Schönholz
- Kleßen
- Görne
- Parey
As of 31 December 2001, Gülpe, Parey, Spaatz, and Strodehne Wolsier closed to new community Havelaue together and the communities Hohennauen, watery soup and Witzke to the community lake together. This office now belonged to the following municipalities: Görne, Großderschau, Havelaue, Kleßen, Schönholz - Neuwerder, Lake View, Stölln and the city Rhinow.
As of 31 December 2002, the municipalities Görne and Kleßen merged to form the new municipality Kleßen - Görne. Also on 31 December 2002 form the communities Schönholz - Neuwerder and Stölln the new community Goll mountain. Thus, the number of official member municipalities had become reduced to six.

Office directors
First Amtsdirektor 1992 Gerd Jendretzky. He was elected in 2000 by a large majority for a second eight -year term again. In the spring of 2008, he was for another eight years to the office director, but already deselected the end of 2009 by the Office Committee. Thereafter, the district Jens Aasmann responsible for the management of the Office. He was selected by the Office Committee for new service director in late 2010.
