Rhipidistia
Devonian Rhipidistier ( and sister group Hohlstachler: Actinistier [ Coelacanth ] )
The Rhipidistia are traditionally a taxon of Sarcopterygii ( their sister group, the Actinistia, the " bream " among the Sarcopterygii ). Erik Jarvik defined it as Porolepi Osteolepiformes; now you mentioned the Rhizodontida as belonging, but the above two orders not clearly Closing ability.
Features
Rhipidistia says, with fan-shaped dorsal fin - an uncharacteristic feature. In contrast, the ( hollow ) rays of the anterior dorsal fin of Actinistia are thorn -like amplified.
Hans -Peter Schultze ( in West Heath and Rieger 2009) identifies the Rhipidistia with the following features:
System
In strictly kladistischem thinking include the Elpistostegalia ( Panderichthyidae ) and its sister group, the land vertebrates ( Tetrapoda ) to the Rhipidistia. As far as fishy they lived from the Devonian to the Permian, the lungfish ( Dipnoi ) ( descendants of Porolepiformes ) but also to this day.
The following diagram shows the possible relationships:
