Rhipsalis hoelleri is a flowering plant in the genus rhipsalis from the cactus family ( Cactaceae ).
Description
Rhipsalis hoelleri growing epiphytic and shrubby with hanging limply mesotonisch or akroton branching shoots of unlimited growth. The rotating round drives have diameter 3-4 mm.
The bright crimson flowers appear laterally and reach a diameter of 1 inch. The nearly spherical fruits are red when ripe.
Systematics, distribution and hazard
Rhipsalis hoelleri is widespread in the south of the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo. The first description was published in 1995 by Wilhelm Barthlott and Nigel Paul Taylor.
