Climate

History

1603 acquired the Margrave Ernst Friedrich of Baden Rhodt by barter. The Baden ruled until 1801 about the place. The wine sales flourished and the prices achieved were very good. By trading Baden Rhodt was relatively rich and impressive wine cellars were built.

1798 Rhodt fell to the French, which was recognized in the Peace of Luneville 1801. Rhodt remained French until 1814 and then came under Bavarian- Austrian administration. On May 1, 1816 went with the rest of the Palatinate to the Kingdom of Bavaria.

After the Second World War Rhodt became a part of Rhineland- Palatinate.
