Rhythm of the Night (song)

Rhythm of the Night is a pop song by the band DeBarge in 1985, which was written by Diane Warren and produced by Richard Perry. It appeared on the same album.

History

By 1985, DeBarge had mostly ballads in their repertoire, although they also brought danceable songs. On behalf of the Motown Diane Warren designed a crossover between ballad and dance hit. The sound of the title was based on the Lionel Richie classic All Night Long ( All Night ) from 1983 and contains calypso influences. It was published on 23 March 1985.
