Ribeira Seca is a comune ( freguesia ) in a circle ( concelho ) of Vila Franca do Campo on the Portuguese Atlantic island of São Miguel, which belongs to the Azores. Covering an area of 5.5 km ² live 1100 inhabitants (as at 30 June 2011) in the community was / is equivalent to a population density of 199 inhabitants km ².

The community was newly created in 2002 and is the youngest municipality in the Azores.
