Ric Jackman
Richard Jackman ( born June 28, 1978 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2011 Anyang Halla of the Asia League Ice Hockey under contract.
Career
Jackman played during his junior time together with Joe Thornton at the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Ontario Hockey League. NHL Entry Draft 1996, he was selected by the Dallas Stars in the first round in fifth place. With the Canadian team he won at the World Ice Hockey Championship 1997 Junior Gold.
In the first years as a pro, he was employed at the Michigan K- Wings of the International Hockey League. From the season 1999/2000 he also came to sporadic operations with the Dallas Stars in the NHL. After unsustainable made the jump to the NHL, he played mostly in the Utah Grizzlies in the IHL. In the summer of 2001, he was issued in exchange for Cameron man to the Boston Bruins.
A shoulder injury threw him in his time in Boston out of the race and so he only played twice for the Bruins. He had some inserts for the AHL farm team, the Providence Bruins. Next stop were the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he was regularly used in the NHL and was only sporadically sent to the AHL to St. John 's Maple Leafs. During the season 2003/ 04 he moved to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The strike of the NHL he bridged in Sweden, but then returned to the Penguins. Soon, however, they gave him from the Florida Panthers. His journey was continued, as moved from Florida to the Anaheim Ducks. With the Ducks, he won in the 2006/07 season the Stanley Cup.
In the 2007 /08 season, Jackman played for EC Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Hockey League. In the 2009/10 season he returned to Switzerland, where he had already reinforced the SC Bern in the Champions Hockey League game in 2008 /09. In the 2009/10 season, he went for the EHC Biel on the ice and reached in 54 games 24 points scorer, but get 2010 a new contract. From October 2010, Jackman was Grizzlies of the ECHL contract with the Utah. Two months later he was hired by the HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga. After he had previously terminated his contract in Bratislava, located Jackman decided in July 2011 for an engagement with Anyang Halla of the Asia League Ice Hockey, where he signed a contract for three years.

In December 2007, Jackman opened the ice surface at the Royal spa gardens in Bad Reichenhall. He thus showed solidarity with the victims of the ice rinks disaster Bad Reichenhall in 2006.
