Ricardo Salinas Pliego

Ricardo Salinas Pliego ( b. 1956 ) is a Mexican entrepreneur and investor.

Life

His parents are Hugo Salinas Price and Esther Pliego de Salinas. Pliego studied at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and at Tulane University in New Orleans. Pliego passes over the Grupo Salinas and Grupo Elektra, the various subsidiaries, including the Mexican company TV Azteca, Elektra, Iusacell, Unefon and Banco Azteca. Pliego is married and has six children. According to the American Forbes Magazine Pliego is among the richest Mexicans.
