Riccardo Zampagna

Riccardo Zampagna (* November 15, 1974 in Terni ) is a retired Italian footballer, he played at the position of a striker.

Career

Zampagna began his career at Amerina Calcio in Serie D, in the course of his career he played in ever higher leagues. In the 2000 /01 season he was obliged Cosenza Calcio and played for the first time in the second highest Italian professional league. As a result Zampagna played in different teams over a hundred Serie B games and was able to achieve more than fifty hits. In the season 2004/ 05 Zampagna moved to FC Messina and was here with 30 years of his debut in Serie A. In his first Serie A season, he immediately secured 12 results. In the season 2005/ 06 he moved to Serie B club Atalanta Bergamo with whom he took a promotion place at the end of the season and thus rose to the Serie A. On the 3rd Round of the 2007/ 08 Zampagna scored against Fiorentina a remarkable scoring the 2-2 final score. This goal was voted in Italy in early 2008 to the gate of the year.

After problems and arguments with coach Luigi Delneri Zampagna changed in January 2008 strongly relegation Series B club Vicenza Calcio. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to second division U.S. Sassuolo Calcio climber. In the 2009/10 season he missed with Sassuolo to promotion to Serie A and lost narrowly in the rise playoffs against FC Turin. For the 2010/11 season, the striker moved to the fourth division Carrarese Calcio, where he came to ten inserts and two goals in league play and in November 2010 ended his career.
