Richard B. Shull

Richard Bruce Shull ( born February 24 1929 in Evanston, Illinois, † October 14, 1999 in New York City, New York ) was an American actor.

Life

Shull attended the University of Iowa and then served in 1953 in the United States Army. After retiring from military service in 1954, he received a position as foreman of the Playhouse Theatre on Broadway. Two years later, he made his Broadway debut as an actor in a small supporting role as a police officer in Wake Up, Darling. In 1970 he had a bigger role in the Marx Brothers musical Minnie 's Boys on the side of Shelley Winters. There followed a number of other roles in Broadway and off -Broadway productions. For his performance in Good Time Charley in 1975 he was nominated for the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award. In 1984, he received as part of the ensemble of The Marriage of Bette and Boo the Obie Award. Between 1995 and 1997, he starred opposite Julie Andrews in the original production of the musical Victor / Victoria on stage. Shortly before his death, he still appeared in Epic Proportions.

His film career began Shull mid-1960s, in part uncredited not mentioned roles.
