Richard Benjamin
Richard Benjamin ( May 22nd, 1938 in New York City, New York) is an American actor and director.
Life
Benjamin first played in numerous theater pieces, in some he also took over as director. Introduced him the role in the television series He & She, for which he was nominated in 1968 for an Emmy Award. In 1970 he was nominated for the role in the comedy Goodbye, Columbus (1969 ), in which he played a starring role for the Laurel Award.
For his role in the comedy The Sunny Boys from 1975, he won the 1976 Golden Globe Award.
Benjamin is married to actress Paula Prentiss since 26 October 1961 and has two children.
