Life and career
It was not until the mid-1980s, at the age of 28, Burgi began with acting and has established itself since then by numerous guest appearances and supporting roles in the series of American television landscape. His credits include appearances in various television series, including 24, The District. Judging Amy and in Harper's Iceland From 1996 to 1999 he was in the lead role of the series The Sentinel - to see in the eye of the hunter. His German dubbing voice lent him, among other things Erich Räuker. Between 2004 and 2012, he starred in Desperate Housewives in the role of Karl Mayer, the ex-husband of Susan, played by Teri Hatcher. He is married to Lori Kahn since 1995 and has two sons.
