Richard Clune

Richard Clune ( born April 25, 1987 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since January 2013 at the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League contract. He plays the position of left winger.

Career

Richard Clune began his career in 2003 at the Sarnia Sting in the Ontario Hockey League and was three years for the team active. He brought it in 191 games to 103. Clune was selected at the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 by the Dallas Stars in the third round at 71st position for which he never ran aground.

The 2006/07 season he spent with the Barrie Colts in the OHL and ran into a game for the Iowa Stars, one of the Dallas Stars farm team on. There were other games with the Iowa Stars and the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL.

For the 2008/09 season he was sold to the Los Angeles Kings and sent to the American Hockey League for the Manchester Monarchs. The 2009/10 season he spent mostly at the Monarchs, was also in between his NHL debut for the Los Angeles Kings.

Because of the shortened season 2012/13 was announced on 15 January 2013 that Clune changes to the Nashville Predators, who had previously selected the Canadians of the Waiverliste.
