Richard de Redvers, 2nd Earl of Devon

Richard de Redvers, 2nd Earl of Devon ( † 21 or April 27, 1162 ) was the son of Baldwin de Redvers, 1st Earl of Devon. Earl of Devon, he was 1155-1162, Sheriff of Devon from 1155 to 1157.

He married Denise, one of the daughters and heiresses of Reginald de Dunstanville, 1st Earl of Cornwall. Their children are:

Baldwin de Redvers ( † 10 or May 28, 1188 ), Earl of Devon, Lord of the Isle of Wight;
Richard de Redvers († August 19 before 1193 ), Earl of Devon, Lord of the Isle of Wight;

Richard de Redvers and Denise de Dunstainville were buried in Christ Church ( Twynham ). His successor was his son Baldwin.
