Richard Donnevert

Richard Donnevert ( born August 2, 1896 in Mainz, † January 27, 1970 in Wiesbaden ) was a German politician ( NSDAP).

Life

After Notabitur in August 1914 Donnevert participated as a soldier in the First World War. In the spring of 1919 he was adopted as a first lieutenant from active military service. Then he started in 1919 a study of dentistry, which he in 1922 at the University of Göttingen dent graduated with the degree of Dr. med. After graduation and licensure, he settled as a dentist in Rotenburg an der Fulda.

In December 1930 Donnevert started to become National Socialist. He became a member of the NSDAP and the SA. From December 1931 to 1934 he was district leader of the NSDAP in Rotenburg an der Fulda, 1934-1937 District Administrator of Frankenberg. 1937-1939 he was a liaison between the staff of the Deputy of the Fuhrer and the Reich War Ministry. From 1940 to 1943 Donnevert was (initially acting) deputy Gauleiter of the Gau Sudetenland of the NSDAP. In the SS, which he joined in 1940, he reached the rank of SS 1941 Oberfiihrer. After his SS career stalled due to excessive alcohol consumption. In the years 1943/44, Donnevert worked in the Party Chancellery of the NSDAP.

In the general election on 29 March 1936, he stepped into his role as the Nazi Party district leader in Hersfeld unsuccessfully. On August 19, 1940 Donnevert occurred in succession procedure for the deputies Josef Kraus as a deputy in the Nazi Reichstag, where he remained until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945.
