Richard Faulkner, Baron Faulkner of Worcester

Richard Oliver Faulkner, Baron Faulkner of Worcester ( born March 22, 1946 in Manchester ) is a British Labour Party politician.

He studied at Worcester College, Oxford the subjects philosophy, politics and Wirtschaftswissenschaftem. He worked as a market researcher and journalist for the Labour Party. He worked as a volunteer communications adviser to the chairman of the Labour Party in the elections of 1987, 1992 and 1997.

He won in Devizes constituency for the Labour Party in the parliamentary elections of 1970 and February 1974 and in the constituency of Monmouth in October 1974, and in Huddersfield West in election 1979.

In 1999, he was raised as Baron Faulkner of Worcester for Life Peer. He worked in a number of parliamentary committees. His political interests are his own words transport, sports, human rights, smoking and health and gender equality.

He is married to Susan, nee Heyes; they have two daughters.
