Richard Gibbs
Richard Gibbs ( born December 5, 1955) is an American film composer.
Life
Gibbs grew up in Daytona Beach. He received his degree in classical composition he made at the Berklee College of Music. Gibbs worked from 1980 to 1984 member of the New Wave band Oingo Boingo. He also worked as a keyboardist for, inter alia, Robert Palmer, Tom Waits, Melissa Etheridge. Richard Gibbs is married and has three children.

Gibbs was awarded two times with the BMI film music award 1999 for the film Doctor Dolittle and 2001 for Big Momma's House.
