Richard Hambleton

Richard Hambleton (born 1954 in Vancouver, Canada) is a painter and graffiti artist. He counts this part of his art for art in public space. He currently lives and works in the Lower East Side in New York.

" Mass murder representations "

Hambletons early works in public spaces provide an imitation of crime scenes dar. These he painted with white chalk the typical outline of murder victims were lying on the ground volunteers and then splashed red paint over the drawing to create a possible authentic acting " crime scene ". Shadow Men
