Richard Hanke

Richard Hanke ( born March 18, 1910 in Breslau, † 2 September 1980) was a German football player. Some sources lead him under the name Walter Hanke.

Career

The striker in the former " offensive system " was a pattern maker by trade. He began his career at Breslau FV 06 and reached with his club in the 1930/31 season in Southeast Germany to the finals. There, he finished with the blue-white after a play against local rivals Breslauer SC 1908 ( 6-3 ) in second place. The 20- year-old striker came on November 2, 1930 in Breslau against Norway on his only international match. He came on in the 46th minute for the injured Karl Hohmann. In the 55th minute he brought the German national team a 1-0 lead. The 1-1 draw debuted on the side of Captain Richard Hofmann also Hans Jacob, and Joseph Kauer Erich Wendl.

On 11 January 1931 he took on the side of Fritz Langner (VfB Breslau) in competition at the German Cup, the colors of the Match against East Central Germany.

From the 1931/32 season, he was a football player nor the Vienna AC in Austria, active at DSV Saaz and SK Prostějov in Czechoslovakia and at FC Metz and Rennes in France.
